I’ve been feeling fairly flat this week. Not down, not miserable, just flat. A slight struggle to motivate myself, for example to do healthy things – I sit here with a beer, bread and butter, and a large bar of chocolate which is unusual for a Thursday evening. I’m still doing stuff. Still working. Still doing the washing up. Still writing roast dinner reviews. Still researching where next to throw money away on the stock market. Ahh pay-day. I treated (is that a word?) myself to a sausage and bacon sandwich this morning for the grand price of £3.65. That is my pay-day treat.  Once my rent is paid, electricity, gas, water, train fare to work and food shopping is all taken into account, there isn’t too much left. I cannot complain too much, I do have money to go out, I am not forced to buy frozen burgers – I do eat good quality food.  I can afford one clubbing trip to London a month and go out most other weekends – though I do …
